Michelle Heyer has been an Assistant United States Attorney in the Northern District of Ohio since 2003. She focuses on civil rights enforcement, including the ADA, fair housing and fair lending, and constitutional policing. Before joining the US Attorney’s Office, Ms. Heyer was a trial attorney at the Department of Justice’s Office of Special Investigations, where she worked on the denaturalization and removal of Nazi camp guard John Demjanjuk. Ms. Heyer holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Boston University, a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Duke University, and a JD from Case Western Reserve University.
